B Arch

The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is an undergraduate academic degree designed to satisfy the academic component of professional accreditation bodies, to be followed by a period of practical training prior to professional examination and registration.
In India, five year B.Arch course is offered by various schools in India. These schools are recognized by council of architecture(coa). Currently there are three schools established by Government of India : School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi
Candidates should have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks with Mathematics and English as subjects of study. Candidates should have passed National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
The American University of Sharjah is the first university outside of North America to offer a B.Arch. that is officially accredited by the prestigious US-based National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB).
Architectural education differs slightly in the United Kingdom. A five-year course used to exist in a similar fashion to the United States, but the 1960s saw the introduction of the sandwich course and a split of the B.Arch. into a 3-year BA (Hons.)

Last date for application is March 31, 2014.
IIT Kharagpur announces short-term courses with international faculty

IIT Kharagpur is now offering students of other colleges a chance to study at the elite institute under the tutelage of an international faculty.

The International Summer and Winter Term (ISWT) will run each year during May-July and December, IIT Kharagpur officials said.
- The participants can be even from the other college, industry and research organizations.
UPPSC Lower PCS Prelims 2013: e-admit card released
- Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has issued e-admit card for Combined Lower Subordinate (Preliminary) Exam 2013. The exam will be held on April 6, 2014 at 22 examination centers situated in different districts of the state.
